A Girly Photoshoot with Cozette Couture Accessories
Happy Memorial Day! I hope that everyone is spending lots of quality time with friends and family they love today. Aubrielle’s been obsessed with the idea of placing flowers on a few of our Grandparents graves this weekend since we told her about it, and keeps picking “pretty flowers” when she sees them, (whether they’re in our yard or not) so we can add them to the graves when we visit (yikes! Sorry neighbors). We’ve also been doing a lot of shopping and cleaning this weekend, and in true House of Smiths fashion, a new project has come up before we can finish another. ha! More on that later…
Speaking of people we love…yesterday after church I got thinking about how long it had been since I’d taken the girls’ pictures, in a more “photoshoot” type fashion… and well, it’s been a while. So since they were all dressed up, (and 2 out of the 3 were willing to do a little modeling for me) I thought I’d snap a few photos!
I’ve also been wanting to share with you these fun new vintage inspired hair accessories from Cozette Couture that I got at the latest Oh Sweet Sadie arts and crafts show.
Dramatic, sassy and TOTALLY adorable! My girls went gah-gah over them the second they saw them. Rossetts and pearls and feathers… oh my!
What I love about these cute hair pieces, are that they are so fun to use when snapping those girly, fun photos. You know, the ones that you blow up and hang over your little girls’ bed in a big ol’ frame, or send to Grandma?
๐
Suzette, Cozette Couture’s creator has tons of different pieces in her shop. From small to large, you can decide how “dramatic” you want your accessory to be. I have to say that I’m sad I didn’t know about these sooner, because they are killer for baby photoshoots too.
Just browsing the Cozette Couture Facebook page made me smile, because there are TONS of amazingly awesome photos showing these cute pieces, you’ve got to check them out.
For those of you who have girls… are they super girly like mine? Would they flip for something over-the-top, like one of these gorgeous headbands?

We have twin girls also, but they are not super girly…they have their days of being girly & actually *wanting* to wear a bow, but not as often as I'd like! :/ Oh well…. Actually, they're really into headbands all of the sudden, do your girls like headbands?? My bow-making days have pretty much come to an end after last year- but the headbands are a huge deal around here
These are very cute, maybe they would try it! {if not, maybe I'll try it hehe} ๐

These headbands are just darling! I heard about Cozette Couture from Suzette's sister, who I met through my daughter's tee-ball team. We were chatting one practice and I commented on her daughter's headband and she told me about her sister's shop. We creative types have a tendency to see something and think "I could make that" but the attention to detail and quality makes me happy to buy them from her. ๐

Love those hair accessories! I'm really happy to hear that your daughter has an interest in putting flowers on the graves. My mom cleans the graves of loved ones and puts flowers on. She just gave me a lecture tonight saying, "Make sure you do the same for me!"
