Catch Us if you Can...

Time to check in!

We've been...

Dancing
Practicing for our winter recital and putting on "plays" for Mom and Dad.
:)
In case you're wondering, yes, that's OUR house. People ask us what we'll do when we run out of things to DIY or decorate... I tell them that we have a dark, unfurnished, un-decorated basement that they don't know about.
That should keep us busy for another 3-4 years or so I think.
:)

Cheering
Splits, kicks, jumps and lifts. These girls LOVE it! Plus it keeps them active in the Winter and gives them something to look forward to. Bonus!

Riding
On a Dolly, in a Can, or in a Box...
Apparently we're obsessed with riding ON and IN things.

Painting
This month I took each girly on a Mommy/Daughter date to paint pottery.
They LOVED it and couldn't wait to show their sisters what they had created.
I'm a BIG fan of alone dates with your kiddos. It's amazing how much you learn about their personalities and  little lives, when you're the only person they have to talk to for a couple of hours.
:)

Shopping
We had every intention of scoring a new washer and dryer on Black Friday. (ours has officially died)
Then sticker shock set in. Along with buyers remorse... and we hadn't even bought anything yet. Ha! Who knew that buying a new appliance could give a couple so much anxiety. ack!
So we left.
Went to another store and bought smoke detectors, a fire extinguisher and some decorative vases instead.

Crafting and Posing
Family pictures went AWESOME, thanks to Miss Laci.
I snapped a few pics on my phone, so I could give you a sneak peek, but I can't wait to see and share the real finished photos. Eeee!

Cleaning, Decorating, Cooking
Cason cleaned out the garage for the Winter, glittered up some letters for stockings, made his first pies and baked potato cinnamon rolls.
My guys been pretty dang busy.
Although, I AM convinced that he's trying to make me fat again...

Workin'
... so I decided enough was enough and started making him come to the gym WITH me. I've been kickin' his trash, much like a good wife should, right?
He makes goodies... I help burn 'em off!

Needless to say, we're all tuckered out.
And while some of us are catching up on our Zzzz's...

...others are just goin' a bit crazy.
Cason wanted to narrate the above photo of him with the following caption:
"Don't ask"
hee hee

So... what have YOU been up to this month? Have you been crazy-busy as well?
Are you getting ready for Christmas yet?
I'm SUPER excited to share our little "Woodsy Winter Wonderland" that we've created!
Till then!

  2. Aw, super jealous of you with your little dancers! I grew up dancing and performing since I could walk...Christmastime was my favorite because we had so many recitals and performances that time of year. I have always dreamed of having a daughter to follow in my dance steps...but so far I've just got wild and crazy boys! LOL www.styleoyster.blogspot.com

  13. OMG! My hair often looks like that in the morning too, and I love the Heeey Macarena statement! We have ADD/ADHD in our household, and that statement is so fitting! I hope you don't mind if I use it.
